Job summary

Divert is seeking an Assistant Controller to ensure the integrity of accounting information, manage timely reporting, and support SEC filings. The role emphasizes strong internal controls and accurate financial statements.

You will lead a team, oversee reconciliation processes, and collaborate with auditors in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This position offers remote or hybrid work with occasional travel to office locations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• CPA required.
• Experience with US GAAP and SEC reporting rules.
• Strong knowledge of SOX and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for internal and external financial reporting activities, including quarterly and annual reports and reconciliations.
• Assist with preparation of 10-Q, 10-K, and other SEC filings and related reviews.
• Ensure reports and disclosures comply with GAAP and SEC guidelines.
• Consolidate entries and accounts in financial statements.
• Advise management on reporting trends and changes in requirements.
