Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to lead our Finance & Accounting team in Wexford, PA. The role reports to the Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller and focuses on accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvements across a growing multi-entity organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Experience in leadership roles (Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager).
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting; year-/month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations and financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Lead and develop the accounting team and drive performance.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Operations, HR and other departments.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and senior management reports.
• Support external audits and annual budgets/forecasts; analyze variances.
