Job summary

Concordis LLC in Everett, WA is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to lead day-to-day accounting across 160+ properties and partner with operational teams to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This on-site, full-time role reports to the Controller.

The ideal candidate will coach a growing accounting team, drive a standardized 5-day close, and oversee core functions including AP, payroll, and property-level reporting within a collaborative, service-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in multi-entity environments; real estate or property management experience strongly preferred.
• Collaborative leadership with focus on support and development.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, including direct reports.
• Oversee a 5-day close across 160+ entities.
• Ensure accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
