Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation seeks an Assembler II for its JLG/Jerr Dan lines in Georgia. You will safely assemble equipment on an assembly line, following detailed supervisor instructions and using mechanical, electrical, and manual tools.

You will troubleshoot components, install accessories, read electrical and hydraulic diagrams, and help train new team members while maintaining a safe, clean 6S environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or general labor experience.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto JLG/Jerr Dan products using safe tools.
• Install product accessories (decals, mud flaps, cameras, lights) including sales changes.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components and read diagrams.
• Repair issues identified during troubleshooting.
• Work across all stations in assigned function.
• Train new team members on processes and equipment.
• Use EQC, MDS, JED, AS400 devices and systems.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment per safety procedures and 6S.
• Follow best practices in assembling and testing all models/products.
• Help drive back defects to origin and assist corrective actions.
• Validate machine configuration aligns to sales order.
• Properly complete EQC process.
• Operate all units produced in the function.
• Set/program units using tools and JLG Analyzer for configuration
