Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a manufacturing assembler to safely assemble equipment by following detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders. You will work with mechanical, electrical, and manual tools to build JLG/Jerr-Dan products and related accessories.

The role requires 6+ months of manufacturing or general labor experience, reliability, and willingness to work overtime as needed. You may operate hand, pneumatic, and power tools, and participate in cross-training across

Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business and production demands.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance, in-person and on-site.
• 6+ months of experience in the manufacturing or general labor industry.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy.
• Measure accurately using tape measures.
• Drill and tap holes for wires, hoses, and small components.
• Identify required options from schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions.
• Lift and stack subassemblies and parts (up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs).
• Cross-train and work in multiple assembly areas as needed.
• Follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards.
• Keep a clean, safe work area in compliance with safety rules and 6S standards.
