Job summary

Magna International is seeking a seasoned manufacturing engineer to join our Exteriors operations in Ohio. The role focuses on optimizing material flow, automation, and process improvements across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and brings 5+ years of manufacturing experience, plus familiarity with AMRs, automation, and Lean/Six Sigma principles. This position offers opportunities to influence startup activities and deployment of advanced

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related technical field.
5+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, automation, material flow, or process optimization.
Experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems is required.

Responsibilities

Experience with AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots), robotics, automation, or manufacturing logistics preferred.
Experience with simulation and digital manufacturing tools, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement preferred.
Experience supporting equipment launches and production startup activities preferred.
