Barriere Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Operator III to join the South Shore Asphalt Group in Louisiana. Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment, basic maintenance, and performing labor tasks as needed. The role requires at least 1 year of road/construction experience and ability to work outdoors in varied weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of road or construction experience outdoors in extreme weather.
• Ability to read, understand, and write simple sentences and perform simple mathematical equations.

Responsibilities

• Operate Rubber-tire Backhoe/Excavator, Base Roller, Small Asphalt Roller, and Powerbroom.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment (lubrication, cleaning, fueling).
• Connect equipment to attachments and use hand tools.
• Perform laborer tasks when not operating equipment.
