Job summary

Barriere Construction, a CRH Company, Louisiana-based asphalt and concrete paving contractor, seeks an experienced Operator III for the South Shore Asphalt Group. The role requires operating heavy machinery, basic repairs, and performing labor tasks when not operating equipment.

Safety protocols must be followed in all weather conditions. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in road/construction work, reads and writes simple sentences, and can perform basic math.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in road or construction outdoors.
• Ability to read, write basic sentences, and perform simple math.

Responsibilities

• Operate Rubber-tire Backhoe/Excavator, Base Roller, Small Asphalt Roller, and Powerbroom.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance: lubricating, cleaning, fueling.
• Connect attachments and use hand tools for setup.
• Perform laborer duties when not operating equipment.
