Job summary

Barriere Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Operator III for the South Shore Group in Boutte, LA. You will operate a Rubbertire Backhoe/Excavator, Base Roller, Small Asphalt Roller, and Powerbroom, with basic maintenance and support on heavy civil projects.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of road or construction field experience outdoors in extreme weather, and can read/write simple sentences and perform basic math.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum of 1 year experience in the road or construction field, working outdoors in extreme weather.
• Able to read, understand, and write simple sentences, and perform simple mathematical equations.

Responsibilities

• Operate Rubbertire Backhoe/Excavator, Base Roller, Small Asphalt Roller, and Powerbroom.
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment (lubricating, cleaning, fueling).
• Connect equipment with attachments and use hand tools to complete tasks.
• Perform laborer duties when not operating equipment.
