Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a seasoned Design Implementation Engineer for ASIC/SoC projects. You will lead floor-planning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing and timing closure to meet PPA targets.

Ideal candidates have 7nm+ tapeout experience and strong skills in formal verification, ECO implementation, and tool suites such as PrimeTime, ICC2, Innovus, and Caliber. Collaboration in a global team and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in place and route at block/SoC level.
• Floor-planning, placement, clock tree synthesis and routing.
• Formal verification, timing analysis and ECO implementation.
• Experience with PrimeTime, ICC2, Innovus, Caliber, LEC.
• 7nm+ tapeout experience preferred.
• Strong problem solving and self-starting attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform place and route and timing closure activities.
• Drive tools and methodologies to meet PPA targets.
• Implement timing and functional ECOs.
• Collaborate with a global team to ensure silicon quality.
