Broadcom is seeking a senior Design Implementation engineer in the United States for hands-on place-and-route and timing closure across block and SoC levels. The role focuses on floorplanning, partitioning, placement, clock tree synthesis, and physical verification to achieve Right-first-time silicon.

Candidates should have 8+ years (BS) or 6+ years (MS) in EE/CE with strong analog/digital flow experience and excellent communication in a global, dynamic team.

Formación

• BS in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Engineering or related field with 8+ years of related experience.
• MS in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Engineering or related field with 6+ years of related experience.
• Extremely proficient in design implementation activities at block and SoC level.
• Experience with 7nm or smaller tapeout is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global, dynamic team.

Responsabilidades

• Lead place and route and timing/constraints tasks to meet PPA metrics.
• Drive tooling and methodologies for timing closure and ECOs.
• Perform floorplanning, partitioning, placement, and clock-tree synthesis.
• Conduct STA, timing analysis, and power optimization.
• Perform equivalence checks and physical verification (LVS/DRC).
