Zusammenfassung

Cognizant seeks a Project Manager with AS/400 Applications to lead complex delivery, enhancement, and modernization initiatives for Property and Casualty Insurance operations. You will collaborate with developers, QA, BAs, architecture groups, and stakeholders to deliver reliable enterprise solutions.

In this role you will manage end-to-end planning, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with security, data protection, and audit requirements.

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years of technology experience managing complex enterprise applications.
• Strong PM experience covering planning, financials, resources, risk management, stakeholder communication, QA, and releases.
• Working knowledge of the AS/400 application ecosystem (SQLRPGLE, RPGLE, Db2 for i, CLP, RPG, AS/400 utilities).
• Experience leading legacy application enhancement, transformation, or modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance processes (policy, claims, billing).
• Experience applying predictive, Agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies to complex programs.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across distributed teams.

Aufgaben

• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of AS/400 projects, defining scope, schedules, resources, budgets, and milestones.
• Oversee development, enhancement, and modernization using AS/400 utilities and related technologies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions to protect timelines and budget.
• Translate insurance policy/admin, claims, and billing requirements into user stories and specs.
• Manage quality, change, release, and deployment activities with acceptance criteria and test plans.
• Provide clear project reporting on progress, financials, risks, and decisions.
• Ensure activities comply with enterprise architecture, security, data protection, and audit requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement by applying lessons learned.
