Job summary

Cognizant seeks an accomplished Project Manager for AS/400 Applications to lead delivery, modernization, and upgrade initiatives within Property and Casualty Insurance. You will coordinate with developers, QA, BAs, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities include end-to-end planning, scope and budget management, risk mitigation, and ensuring compliance with security and audit requirements.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology experience managing complex enterprise projects or portfolios.
• Strong project management with planning, budgeting, risk, and release delivery.
• Working knowledge of AS/400 ecosystem and related technologies.
• Experience leading modernization initiatives in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of AS/400 projects, including scope, schedules, resources, budgets, and milestones.
• Oversee development, enhancement, and modernization efforts using AS/400 technologies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions.
• Translate policy administration, claims, and billing needs into user stories and specs.
• Ensure quality, release, deployment activities, and post-production stability.
