Job summary

Cadogan Tate, a global leader in fine art logistics, is seeking an Account Manager in Brooklyn, NY. You will oversee logistics from initial consultation through project completion, managing high-value client portfolios and coordinating domestic and international shipments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 5+ years in account management within fine art logistics or luxury services, and strong communication, negotiation, and cost-control skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of account management in fine art logistics, auction, design, or luxury services.
• Proven record of managing complex, high-value client portfolios.
• In-depth understanding of logistics operations, import/export compliance, and project costing.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Moveware or The Studio advantageous (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for assigned client accounts and build long-term relationships.
• Lead end-to-end domestic and international shipments, managing budgets and timelines.
• Coordinate with dispatch, operations, art handling, storage, and finance to ensure success.
• Prepare customs and compliance documentation, including permits and invoices.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and win new business.
• Uphold service standards and monitor client feedback for improvements.
