Job summary

Motorola Solutions, Silvus Technologies’ Senior Business Development Engineer for the US Army, will translate Army requirements into technically sound solutions and coordinate with the Applications Engineering team. You will support demonstrations, roadmaps, and program requirements with BD and engineering teams.

Role features travel up to 50%, substantial remote-work flexibility depending on location, and collaboration with DoD stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with SDRs, IP-based tactical routing protocols, and tactical communications systems.
• Bachelor's degree as specified or equivalent experience.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Willingness to travel 50% to customer sites and DoD environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Army Capability Set requirements and Mission Command network goals to map gaps to our tactical radio capabilities.
• Lead demonstrations and field trials to showcase interoperable architectures.
• Collaborate with BD and Applications Engineering to identify end-to-end product solutions.
• Prepare technical planning, network configuration, and live-on-the-air execution of evaluations.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with accurate, architecture-aligned proposals.
• Engage with Army PMs and warfare centers to translate tech into program requirements.
