Job summary

Motorola Solutions, through its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, seeks a Senior Business Development Engineer to support US Army programs. You will translate Army requirements into technically sound solutions and demonstrate interoperability of the tactical portfolio to Army evaluation teams.

Travel up to 50% for meetings, events, and demonstrations. The role may be 100% remote depending on location, enabling collaboration with engineering and business development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma/GED with at least 9 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based tactical routing protocols, and tactical communication systems.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Army Capability Set requirements and map gaps to tactical radio capabilities.
• Conduct market research to identify end-to-end product solutions and synergies with partners.
• Design demonstrations tailored to the Army showing future edge network possibilities.
• Lead planning, network configuration, and field trials with BD and Applications Engineering teams.
• Translate Army feedback into actionable product roadmaps.
