Job summary

Motorola Solutions' Silvus Technologies unit seeks a Senior Business Development Engineer for US Army engagements. You will translate Army requirements into technically sound, field-ready solutions and coordinate with BD and Applications Engineering teams.

Responsibilities include leading demonstrations, technical planning, and engagement with Army program managers, S&T leads, and warfare centers. Willingness to travel up to 50% and remote work options exist depending on location.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 5+ years experience; or 9+ years with HS Diploma.
Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with Software-Defined Radios (SDRs) and IP-based tactical routing.
Strong knowledge of US Army procurement pathways and Army Futures Command priorities.
Proficiency with RF instruments (signal generators, spectrum analyzers).

Responsibilities

Analyze US Army Capability Set requirements and map gaps to tactical radio capabilities.
Conduct market research to identify end-to-end product solutions and partner synergies.
Design and build demonstrations tailored to the Army.
Lead technical planning, network configuration, and field trial execution.
Translate Army feedback into actionable product roadmaps and ensure proposal accuracy.
