Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring an Area Manager. The Area Manager is responsible for the overall supervision of janitorial staff at assigned sites.

The Area Manager also ensures customer satisfaction through the delivery of quality service and provides this service in a timely manner within the established budget. Join us in delivering cleaning, landscaping, and restoration services for commercial facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of management experience in a service-related industry.
• Business level English communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Strong customer service and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise janitorial staff at assigned sites and ensure quality service.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by timely delivery within budget.
• Select and place personnel; conduct performance appraisals and development.
• Monitor labor budgets and prepare work schedules.
• Conduct safety training, new-hire orientation, and records management.
• Foster communication and resolve employee relations issues.
• Build relationships with customers through regular site visits.
• Document issues and follow through to ensure resolution.
