Job summary

Hims & Hers Health, Inc. is seeking an Area Manager, Maintenance Facilities to oversee a team of technicians in our warehouse operations.

You will apply predictive and preventive maintenance to critical production equipment, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime. You will interact with supervisors regularly and uphold safety and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or related field.
• 3+ years of formal leadership experience with direct reports.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and project management tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery without supervision.
• Ability to document predictive/preventive maintenance data and use for improvements.
• Strong English communication skills; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Able to ascend stairs and ladders and work with PPE.
• Experience with PLC and CMMS systems preferred.
• Formal training or certification in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air compression, PLC or HVAC trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of maintenance technicians to perform corrective, preventive, and planned maintenance on warehouse equipment and building systems.
• Perform and supervise building maintenance including painting, sheetrock, doors, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain warehouse safety and 5S standards; identify and address hazards.
• Create and install custom equipment as needed for operations.
• Keep maintenance records and use software to track time, parts, and repairs.
• Develop predictive maintenance strategies by analyzing trends and data.
• Communicate safety or operational risks to management promptly.
• Coordinate repairs with production to minimize downtime.
• Calibrate and test equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions promptly.
• Collaborate on process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
