Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc. seeks a patient-focused Area Business Manager to promote the first FDA-approved Rett syndrome therapy in both adults and children.

You will own territory strategy, analyze market insights, and partner across teams to drive performance in a complex rare disease landscape. This role requires a strong pharmaceutical sales background, 3+ years in the field, and a willingness to travel extensively to meet customers, KOLs, and healthcare providers while upholding compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences preferred.
• 3+ years pharmaceutical sales, with at least 1 year in specialty sales.
• 8+ years pharmaceutical sales with at least 5 years in specialty sales.
• Experience with KOLs, Centers Of Excellence, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Report to Regional Business Leader and align with sales goals.
• Build relationships with healthcare providers and care teams.
• Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused messages on therapies.
• Plan and execute territory business plans and exceed targets.
• Engage with KOLs and stakeholders to support patient access.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support patients and providers.
• Represent Acadia with professionalism and compliance.
