Job summary

ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking an Area Business Manager in the Dallas area to promote the first FDA-approved Rett syndrome therapy for adults and eligible children.

You will own territory strategy, analyze insights, and partner across functions to drive performance in a complex rare disease landscape. The role requires strong relationship-building with HCPs, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to compliance standards as you expand patient access to Acadia’s products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences required or preferred.
• 3+ years pharmaceutical sales experience required; 1 year in specialty sales for Area Manager.
• 8+ years in pharmaceutical sales with 5+ years in specialty sales for Sr. Area Manager.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Regional Business Leader and align with sales team goals.
• Build relationships with healthcare providers and care teams to facilitate therapy initiation.
• Educate HCPs on Acadia therapies and safety/efficacy data (MLR-compliant messages).
• Plan and execute territory business plans to exceed goals and targets.
• Develop relationships with KOLs and stakeholders; address customer concerns quickly.
