Job summary

Acadia Pharmaceuticals seeks a patient-inspired, results-driven Area Business Manager to promote the first FDA-approved Rett syndrome treatment in adults and children. You will own territory strategy, analyze market insights, and partner cross-functionally to drive performance in a complex rare disease landscape.

The role requires strong selling, relationship-building with KOLs, and ability to navigate evolving customer needs while aligning with compliance guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, life sciences preferred.
• Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales, 1 year in specialty sales (rare diseases).
• Senior level requires 8 years pharma sales, 5 years in specialty sales (rare diseases).

Responsibilities

• Report to Regional Business Leader and align with sales goals.
• Build relationships with healthcare providers and care teams to drive therapy adoption.
• Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused messages about Acadia’s products.
