Job summary

STV Incorporated seeks a Senior Project Manager-Architect for its Buildings group in NYC to lead a portfolio of NYCHA projects including facade, residential renovation, and community facilities. You will manage contract administration, billing, and scheduling while coordinating with architecture and engineering teams.

The role requires extensive public agency experience in New York, strong client relations, and proficiency in Revit and project management platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in architecture or A/E project management with senior-level responsibility.
• Experience managing public agency clients in New York City and familiarity with procurement, contracting, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with contract administration, fee tracking, billing and change order management.
• Familiarity with NYCHA compliance obligations including Section 3 and M/WBE reporting.
• Proficiency in Revit and working knowledge of project management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the full project management lifecycle across the NYCHA portfolio, including contract administration, fee development, billing, change order management, and additional services authorization.
• Serve as the primary client interface for NYCHA stakeholders; maintain relationships and escalate issues to the Architecture Team Leader.
• Develop and maintain project workplans, staffing plans, and delivery schedules across the portfolio; coordinate staffing with leaders.
• Coordinate across internal and external teams to ensure integrated, on-schedule delivery and oversee engineering leads on multi-discipline projects.
• Track and report project financials; present portfolio-level status to leadership on a regular cadence.
• Navigate NYC DOB permitting, approvals, and regulatory coordination across concurrent scopes.
• Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies; support proposal development and client presentations.
