Job summary

STV Incorporated in New York City seeks a Senior Project Architect for its Buildings group. The SPA serves as day-to-day delivery lead on complex architecture projects, owning the drawing set, coordinating specifications, and guiding subconsultants from kickoff through closeout.

The role requires NYS RA, 15+ years of experience, fluency with NYC Building Code and DOB processes, and the ability to mentor designers while collaborating with Design and Project Management Leads to meet schedules and

Qualifications

• Registered Architect in NY or eligible within 6 months.
• 15+ years progressive architecture experience.
• Fluency in the NYC Building Code and DOB processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from kickoff to closeout, directing the architecture team.
• Own drawing set, specs coordination, and subconsultant coordination.
• Escalate contract/fee issues to Principal-in-Charge.
• Coordinate across disciplines and ensure code compliance.
• Mentor staff and contribute to firmwide technical standards.
