Job summary

STV is seeking an Architect for our Buildings group in NYC. The Project Architect is the chief technical architect for the management and creation of construction documents on assigned projects, ensuring coordinated, code-compliant, buildable documents.

Working under a Senior Project Architect, the role leads technical detailing, model quality in Revit, and coordination with engineering disciplines through DD and CD phases, shaping STV's technical standards and proposals.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with NYS registration or eligible within hire period.
• 5–10 years of professional architecture experience including construction document production and multi-discipline coordination.
• Proficiency in Revit/BIM for architectural production.
• Working knowledge of NYC and NYS building codes.
• Experience coordinating with engineering disciplines through DD and CD phases.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of construction documents, drawings and specs.
• Direct technical coordination across disciplines and consultants.
• Ensure coded, buildable documents and QA of drawings.
• Mentor production staff and manage day-to-day production.
• Collaborate with the Design Lead and Senior Project Architect.
