Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Architect Development Team Lead to support solution architecture and the development team for a government customer. The role is located in the Washington DC metro area and will be hybrid, primarily remote with intermittent onsite requirements.

The candidate will lead a team of architects and developers, coordinate with federal agencies, and ensure compliance with federal regulations while guiding architecture design and implementation across multiple systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years on large-scale application design and development.
Expert proficiency in Natural using ADABAS.
Experienced in developing using NaturalONE Eclipse-based development environment.
5+ years project management experience.
Experience working with customers to define requirements.
Strong ability to design solutions across multiple systems or sub-systems.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of technical architects and developers.
Assess existing background investigation systems for DCSA and other federal agencies.
Interact with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and program needs.
Design scalable, efficient solution architectures.
Ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards.
Collaborate with development teams to implement proposed solutions.
Track requirements using JIRA; design and optimize data transfers with Connect Direct.
Develop and maintain batch processing (JCL) and IBM MQ queues.
Provide expertise in federal contract and grants management throughout the project lifecycle.
