Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Architect Development Team Lead in the Washington DC metropolitan area. This hybrid role supports architecture and development teams for a government client, with remote work and periodic onsite requirements.

The candidate will guide cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with federal standards, and manage delivery of mission critical background investigation systems. Strong leadership and architecture experience are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of experience in large scale app design and development.
Expert proficiency programming in Natural using ADABAS.
Experience with NaturalONE Eclipse-based development environment.
5+ years of project management experience.
5+ years’ experience defining requirements with customers.
Strong ability to design solutions across multiple systems or sub-systems.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of technical architects and developers to deliver mission critical applications.
Assess existing background investigation support systems and processes for improvements.
Capture user requirements and align solutions with program needs.
Design scalable, compliant solution architectures across federal regulations.
Collaborate with development teams to implement proposed solutions successfully.
Use JIRA for requirements tracking and documentation.
