Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Architect Development Team Lead to support solution architecture and development for a government customer. The role is located in the Washington DC metropolitan area with a hybrid schedule, primarily remote with intermittent onsite activity.

The candidate will lead a team, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure solutions meet federal regulations. Strong background with Natural/ADABAS and IBM MQ is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with extensive experience in large-scale application design and development.
• Expert proficiency programming in Natural using ADABAS.
• Experience with NaturalONE Eclipse-based development environment.
• 5+ years’ project management experience.
• 5+ years’ experience defining requirements with customers.
• Strong ability to design solutions across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical architects and developers for O&M and enhancement initiatives.
• Assess existing background investigation systems and processes for federal agencies.
• Interact with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and program needs.
• Design scalable and efficient solution architectures; ensure federal compliance.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement solutions.
• Use JIRA for requirements tracking; maintain interfaces with infrastructure teams.
• Develop and maintain JCL, IBM MQ queues, and Connect Direct file transfers.
