Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Architect Development Team Lead to guide solution architecture and development for a government customer. The role is based in the Washington DC metropolitan area and will be hybrid—primarily remote with occasional on-site activity.

You will lead architecture teams, drive assessments of background investigation systems, and ensure compliant, scalable solutions, collaborating with security, infrastructure, and development teams while using ServiceNow for workflow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s with 15+ years on large-scale application design and development.
• Expert proficiency in Natural programming with ADABAS.
• Experience in NaturalONE Eclipse-based development environment.
• 5+ years’ project management experience.
• 5+ years’ experience defining customer requirements and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Strong ability to design cross-system solutions and interact with teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical architects and developers.
• Assess existing background investigation systems for improvements.
• Capture user requirements from diverse stakeholders.
• Design scalable, compliant solution architectures.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, security and operations teams.
• Use ServiceNow for workflow management and governance.
• Develop and maintain batch processes (JCL) and IBM MQ flows.
• Support federal contracts and grants lifecycle requirements.
