Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Architect Development Team Lead to support government client solution architecture and development efforts. The role is based in the Washington DC metro area with a hybrid, primarily remote arrangement and occasional onsite activity.

You will lead a team of architects and developers, design scalable architectures, and ensure compliance with federal standards while coordinating with stakeholders and development teams across systems such as background investigation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years on large scale application design and development.
• Expert proficiency programming in Natural using ADABAS.
• Experience with NaturalONE Eclipse-based development environment.
• 5+ years’ project management experience.
• 5+ years’ experience working with customers on defining requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical architects and developers.
• Design scalable, efficient solution architectures compliant with federal standards.
• Interact with customers and stakeholders to capture requirements.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, security, and support teams.
• Guide development, testing, and operations for mission critical applications.
• Leverage JIRA for requirements tracking and ServiceNow workflows.
• Develop and maintain batch processes, file transfers, and MQ queues.
• Ensure alignment with DoD/DCSA BIS and background investigation systems.
