Job summary

Steinberg Hart in California seeks a seasoned architectural project manager to guide medium-sized project teams through full design and delivery. You will collaborate with Principal-in-Charge, manage backlog, staffing, contracts, and ensure on-time, on-budget performance while upholding design integrity.

Strong leadership, communication, and knowledge of codes and sustainable practices are required. This role offers growth in a collaborative, design-forward environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of design and documentation of projects with project management experience.
• Ability to demonstrate full knowledge of the business of architecture and a proven track record of management on complex, large assignments.
• California-licensed architect preferred; LEED AP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide medium project teams through entire project cycle from development to delivery.
• Collaborate with Principal-in-Charge to manage backlog, staffing, and contracts.
• Coordinate with Project Designer to ensure design intent and client standards are met.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule and work plan to ensure profitable completion.
• Represent the firm in client and project development matters.
• Coordinate the design team and consultants across design phases.
• Develop and review project proposals, schedules, and fee provisions.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulatory approvals.
