Job summary

Steinberg Hart is seeking a licensed Architect to guide design teams through design development and refinement, ensuring technical documentation aligns with design intent and construction requirements.

You will conduct on-site observations, manage project documentation, and lead small teams, coordinating with clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure project success from proposal to occupancy.

Qualifications

• Eight years of progressive experience in technical and design production.
• California architecture license required; LEED AP preferred.
• Proficiency in BIM and design software: Revit 2016+, AutoCAD 2016+, SketchUp/Rhino.
• Experience with proposals/presentations and client-facing work.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams through design development to construction documentation.
• Conduct on-site observations and prepare reports.
• Manage project documentation, changes, and revisions throughout construction.
• Interface with clients for scoping, proposals, and project needs.
• Lead small teams, handle staffing, fee estimation, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with consultants and authorities having jurisdiction.
