Qualifications

12+ years of distributed system architecture experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Experience presenting designs to cross-functional teams.
Experience with the software development life cycle in Unix/Linux environments.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product management and engineering to describe and design solutions aligned with Akamai's strategy and roadmap.
Present architectural designs and technical visions to internal cross-functional teams
Define and implement standards for systems design, development, testing and QA practices
Design reliable, scalable, and highly available software for Akamai's Connected Cloud
Conduct research on emerging trends and technologies related to network operations and automation.
