Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in distributed system architecture design and implementation.
• Experience presenting and supporting architectural and security designs to cross-functional teams.
• Experience with software development life cycle in Unix/Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product management and engineering to describe and design solutions aligned with Akamai's strategy and roadmap.
• Present and support architectural designs and technical visions to internal cross-functional teams.
• Define and implement standards for systems design, development, testing, and QA practices.
• Design reliable, high-quality software for robust, scalable, and highly available systems.
• Research emerging trends and technologies in network operations and automation.
