Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in distributed systems architecture.
• Proven ability to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
• Experience presenting architectural designs to cross-functional teams.
• Experience with software development lifecycle in Unix/Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Describe and design solutions aligned with Akamai's strategy and roadmap.
• Present architectural designs and technical visions to internal teams.
• Define and implement standards for system design, development, testing and QA practices.
• Design reliable, scalable software for highly available systems.
