Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking a Senior Architect to lead the architectural design of pharmaceutical and life sciences facilities. You will shape projects from concept through construction, ensuring GMP compliance and regulatory alignment.

Join a multidisciplinary team and mentor junior architects, while advancing design standards and cleanroom excellence. Strong BIM and regulatory knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Active Registered Architect (RA) license in good standing within the U.S., with ability to obtain reciprocity as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and planning for complex pharma and life sciences projects including GMP facilities.
• Provide technical leadership and oversee internal project teams and construction documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines to ensure coordination and operational performance within GMP environments.
• Interpret building codes and GMP regulations (IBC, NFPA, ADA/ABA) across project phases.
• Lead reviews, QA/QC, and constructability checks focused on GMP compliance and cleanroom integrity.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to design standards and library development.
