SSOE Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Architect with deep experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences facilities to lead design from concept through delivery on complex cGMP manufacturing suites, labs, and related spaces.

You will coordinate with process engineers, QC/QA, validation teams, and clients, apply codes and GMP standards, mentor staff, and help shape innovative, compliant solutions while advancing the firm's reputation in life sciences infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Active Registered Architect (RA) license in good standing in the U.S.
• 10+ years of architectural experience in pharma/biotech/life sciences, GMP facilities.
• Leadership of internal design teams through all project phases in a design-build delivery model.
• Strong knowledge of IBC/IFC/NFPA codes in lab/pharma settings.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows; experience with AutoCAD/Navisworks.

Responsabilités

• Lead architectural design for complex pharma and life sciences projects including cGMP facilities.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight to project teams producing construction documents.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines to ensure holistic GMP-compliant design.
• Apply codes and GMP regulations across all project phases.
• Lead peer reviews, QA/QC, and constructability reviews focused on GMP compliance.
• Mentor junior architects and stay current with GMP trends.
