Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Architect Development Team Lead to support solution architecture and development team needs for a government customer. The position will be located in the Washington DC metropolitan area and will be a hybrid position, primarily remote with intermittent onsite activity.

The role requires expert experience in Natural/ADABAS, architecture design across cloud and on-prem, and strong leadership to manage a team of architects and developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 15+ years in large-scale application design and development.
• Expert proficiency in Natural using ADABAS.
• Experience with Software AG’s NaturalONE Eclipse-based development environment.
• 5+ years’ project management experience.
• 5+ years’ experience defining requirements with customers.
• Active Top Secret clearance/SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of architects and developers on mission-critical systems.
• Assess existing BIS/DCSA background investigation systems and processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit user requirements and program needs.
• Design scalable, compliant solution architectures across systems.
• Ensure alignment with federal regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with development teams to implement solutions.
• Review and measure effectiveness of deployed solutions.
• Provide guidance on contracts and grants management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize JIRA for requirements tracking and collaboration.
