Job summary

Citi in Tampa is seeking a Senior Agentic AI Engineer to define how AI systems are architected, governed, and deployed at scale within a regulated enterprise.

You will collaborate with AI architects, engineering leads, and business stakeholders to deliver agentic AI solutions that enhance automation and operational efficiency, mentor engineers, and drive technical excellence across teams.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of AI/software development, including significant experience in Generative AI and agentic AI.
• Demonstrated portfolio of AI-driven projects in a business environment.
• Experience with AWS (or equivalent) cloud infrastructure for AI/GenAI.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with AI architects, leads, and stakeholders to design and implement generative and agentic AI solutions that address business challenges.
• Architect advanced context engineering strategies to maximize reliability, provenance, and token efficiency in production.
• Design and implement advanced generative AI methods, including prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Build and optimize RAG systems, including hybrid search, multi-vector retrieval, and re-ranking pipelines.
• Design knowledge graphs and Graph RAG architectures for multi-hop reasoning and grounded responses.
• Architect agentic workflows and multi-agent systems using Google ADK and comparable frameworks.
• Design robust agent harnesses with governance, constraints, and execution controls for reliability and safety.
• Integrate agents with tools via MCP and orchestrate inter-agent collaboration via A2A protocol.
• Support integration of GenAI and agentic apps into production with scalability and observability.
