Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive AR, credit, or collections experience.
• 3+ years of team leadership experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and advanced Excel.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; franchise experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for complex franchisee billing disputes.
• Partner to resolve delinquent accounts, including payment plans and defaults.
• Identify root causes of recurring billing issues and improve billing accuracy.
• Own the bad debt reserve methodology and quarterly reserve analysis.
• Make write-off decisions and document support per policy.
• Monitor aging and bad debt exposure by channel and brand.
• Set and enforce credit, collection, and write-off policies across channels.
• Maintain internal controls over billing and cash application.
• Manage third-party collection agency relationships.
• Lead AR team and provide day-to-day leadership.
• Deliver AR reporting to finance leadership.
• Drive process improvement and automation in collections.
• Support month-end close and reserve analysis.
