Job summary

Ensign Services, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Resource - Skilled Nursing to train and assist business office managers and staff in accurate, timely billing practices across the NCI California Market.

You will monitor collections and ensure revenue transactions are recorded precisely in locations serving skilled nursing facilities. The role requires leadership in AR workflows, policy updates, and cross-location collaboration, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in a Business Office Manager role in SNF/LTC setting required.
• Accounts receivable experience in SNF/LTC settings.
• Multi-facility oversight experience preferred (2+ years).
• PointClickCare experience preferred.
• California Medicaid Billing and Applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct AR functions across multiple locations under supervision of AR Director.
• Analyze AR processes to optimize workflow and productivity; communicate deficiencies and best practices to operations management.
• Provide training to business office staff at multiple locations.
• Monitor and update financial policies according to company policy and regulations.
• Communicate best practices with peers and staff.
• Assist with AR workflow improvements and corrective actions.
• Coordinate month-end close processes when staff vacancies arise.
• Support AR functions where location positions are vacant.
