Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking an Accounts Receivable - SSAR Collection Coordinator in Atlanta to manage a large portfolio, apply remittances, and reconcile discrepancies. You will work with internal teams and external suppliers, using JD Edwards and Excel daily.

The role focuses on cash collection, research, and data integrity across multiple accounts, offering growth within Smurfit Westrock.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and cash application.
• Proficiency with JD Edwards and Excel required.
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Verify data for accuracy and completeness using analytics.
• Hit metrics and deadlines for cash and collections.
• Research and reconcile UAC cases monthly (2000+ per month).
• Process UAC cases and apply remittance to correct invoices.
• Pull data from portals and match to open invoices using VLOOKUP templates.
• Resolve double payments and remittance issues.
• Follow established procedures and perform root-cause analysis.
