Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks an Aptitude Superintendent 2 to lead complex low voltage projects from planning through closeout. You will manage trade partners, sequencing, budgets and schedules, ensuring safety, quality and on-time, profitable completion.

Collaboration with owners, designers and authorities is essential to success. Candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, deep knowledge of low voltage systems, and experience across multiple trades.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of construction experience and 3+ years of field supervision experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing projects and knowledge of low voltage systems.
• Strong communication, planning and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, safety and quality across trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex projects from start to finish, including schedule, cost, and safety.
• Coordinate low voltage technology scopes with designers, owners and subcontractors.
• Develop work plans, allocate resources, and track progress against the project plan.
• Oversee safety culture, mentoring staff and incident investigations.
• Ensure quality compliance with specifications and QA/QC processes.
• Manage communications with owners, design teams, authorities, and suppliers.
