Launch Potato seeks a senior data scientist to own the complete data science stack for a priority vertical, driving ROAS through end-to-end modeling and deployment. You will work closely with stakeholders and ML engineers to frame problems, validate models, and monitor live performance.

The role emphasizes hands-on modeling in Python, with strong SQL and AWS ML execution. You’ll contribute to Insurance and Advertiser Quality efforts and optimize media effectiveness across brands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a hands-on, in-the-weeds applied data science role delivering measurable business impact.
• Expert Python and SQL in real-world projects.
• Experience building ML solutions in AWS cloud.
• Knowledge of multi-armed bandit, reinforcement learning, and ranking systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the full data science engine for a priority vertical from problem to deployed model and live ROAS performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and ML engineering to deploy the ML pipeline end-to-end.
• Validate models and monitor performance, ensuring ongoing revenue growth and media efficiency.
