Job summary

Launch Potato seeks a data scientist to own the full data science engine for a priority vertical, driving revenue through deployed models and live ROAS performance. You will work closely with stakeholders and ML engineers to frame problems, validate models, and ensure successful deployment.

You will start with Insurance and Advertiser Quality, with a focus on maximizing ROAS while improving lead quality across multiple brands, building trusted outputs and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data science delivering measurable business impact.
• Hands-on ML in AWS cloud environments.
• Strong modeling fundamentals to drive revenue and ROAS.
• Experience with multi-armed bandit / reinforcement learning approaches.
• Expert in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Own the full data science engine for a priority vertical from problem to deployed model and live ROAS performance.
• Collaborate with ML engineering for last-mile deployment and monitor performance.
• Focus initially on Insurance and Advertiser Quality with scope to expand.
• Deliver models that improve ROAS and lead quality across brands.
• Establish direct partnerships with vertical business stakeholders.
