Job summary

Launch Potato is seeking a hands-on data scientist to own the full data science stack for a priority vertical. You will define problems, build and validate models, and drive ROAS-backed decisions across multiple brands within a remote-first, global team.

You will collaborate with ML engineering on deployment, monitoring, and performance analyses, focusing initially on Insurance and Advertiser Quality with measurable revenue impact.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data science for digital marketing, performance marketing, or leadgen
• Hands-on experience building and deploying ML solutions in AWS
• Strong modeling fundamentals to drive business impact
• Experience with multi-armed bandit, reinforcement learning, ranking systems, or funnel optimization
• Expert Python and SQL knowledge

Responsibilities

• Own the full data science engine for a priority vertical from problem framing to deployed model and ROAS monitoring
• Develop and validate models that improve media efficiency and revenue
• Collaborate with ML engineering for last-mile deployment and ongoing monitoring
• Focus initially on Insurance and Advertiser Quality with ROAS as primary metric
