Job summary

Launch Potato is seeking an experienced data scientist to own the full data science engine for a priority vertical, driving ROAS through deployed models and data-driven insights. You will work closely with stakeholders to frame business problems, build models, and ensure successful deployment and monitoring.

You will start with Insurance and Advertiser Quality, expanding scope over time as you identify opportunities to improve revenue and media efficiency across our brands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a hands-on, in-the-weeds applied data science role delivering measurable business impact.
• Proven experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or the leadgen industry.
• Strong modeling fundamentals and ability to build models that drive revenue and ROAS.

Responsibilities

• Own the full data science engine for a priority vertical from problem to deployed model and ROAS.
• Hands-on role: work with data, build and validate models, and hand off to ML engineers for last mile.
• Focus initially on Insurance and Advertiser Quality with ROAS as primary metric.
