Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in CS or quantitative discipline (or equivalent) with at least 6 years in applied AI/ML; 1 year as a people leader
• Deep applied AI/ML and deployment engineering experience: built production-ready AI systems and owned them through their lifecycle
• Fluency with modern generative AI as part of larger systems; sound judgment on reliability
• Machine-learning rigor with data understanding: evaluation, error analysis, statistical thinking
• Strong software-engineering judgment and programming skill

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of applied scientists: hire, coach, set direction, develop people toward their best work.
• Set the technical and scientific bar; shape architectures, review designs and evaluations; work alongside engineers.
• Own AI system readiness end-to-end: from problem framing through evaluation and production monitoring.
• Choose the right problems and decide where to invest for impact across matters.
• Partner with product, engineering, design, customer-facing teams, and legal experts to take ideas from PoC to production at scale.
• Communicate with precision to team, leadership, and customers; translate technical nuance into actionable decisions.
• Represent Relativity at industry conferences, events, and with customers.
