We are seeking a Senior Manager, Applied Science to expand the aiR agentic harness for greater capability and reliability. You will lead a team of experts, set the technical bar, and own end-to-end readiness from problem framing to production monitoring.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in computer science or quantitative discipline, with at least 6 years in applied AI/ML and 1 year in people leadership.
• Deep applied AI/ML and deployment engineering experience building production-ready AI systems.
• Fluency with modern generative AI as part of larger systems and judgment about capabilities and limits.
• Machine-learning rigor with careful evaluation, error analysis, and data-supported conclusions.
• Strong software engineering judgment and programming skill.
• Ownership mindset extending beyond immediate team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of applied scientists: hire, coach, set direction, and develop people toward their best work.
• Shape architectures, review designs and evaluations, and work closely with the team on hard problems.
• Own AI system readiness end-to-end—from problem framing to evaluation, error analysis, and production monitoring.
• Decide which problems to tackle and guide investments in agentic harnesses and large-scale review systems.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, design, and legal experts to take ideas from concept to production at scale.
• Communicate with precision to leadership, team, and customers; translate technical nuance into actionable decisions.
• Represent Relativity at industry events and with customers.
