Job summary
Calqulate Metrics Ltd is seeking an Assistant Technical Applications Manager to lead complex gas detection, automation, and control-system initiatives. This hands-on role blends engineering, field support, and customer interaction to design solutions, troubleshoot equipment, and drive product improvements.
You’ll manage projects from design through commissioning, mentor engineers, and deliver technical training on-site.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in applications engineering or related technical environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Responsibilities
- Serve as senior technical resource for industrial gas detection, automation, control system applications.
- Lead system design activities including control architecture, automation strategies, communications, instrumentation, and system integration.
- Configure, program, troubleshoot, and support PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks.
- Manage projects from concept and design through testing, installation, startup, and commissioning.
- Provide on-site commissioning, startup assistance, troubleshooting, and customer support.
